That’s a wrap for 2011!

The 2011 Tucson Oktoberfest was held September 29-October 2 at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, Arizona.

In its 10th year, the 2011 Tucson Oktoberfest featured 100 arts and crafts booths and a childrens’ play area. The main Oktoberfest stage was headlined by the Hofbrauhaus Band and featured a wide variety of local Tucson acts including the Coyote Country Cloggers, Polish Folk Ensemble, Fifteen with Double R, Maguire Academy Irish DanceKids UnlimitedTucson Tap AttackSaguaro StruttersDanswestClogging Desert StarsRusyny Folk Ensemble, Pure Natives, Tucson Square Dancers, The Tucson Prunes, special guest MC Alan Michaels, and more.

Many Oktoberfest visitors who arrived on opening day were admitted with a donation of two or more cans of food to the local community food bank.

40+ rescued dogs were adopted at the Oktoberfest, leaving the event bound for new and loving homes.

2011 Desert Dachshund Race

Calling all Wiener Dogs to race in the Desert Dachshund Race at the Tucson Oktoberfest.

Proceeds benefit Sahuaro Dachshund Rescue, a non-profit rescue that helps homeless Dachshunds find new homes.
